Why me
The producer who stays until it works
More than 20 years of production experience with ensembles, organisations and initiatives in theatre, concerts, festivals and site-specific projects. That is not a line on a CV, it is a way of working. I know what a production needs because I have built them, from the first sketch to the curtain call.
What sets me apart? I think at both concept and execution level at the same time. I see the artistic direction and the production reality. I speak the language of the maker and the technician. That makes me effective at the point where many productions get stuck: translating what you want into what you can actually deliver.
From developing temporary cultural locations from scratch to producing more than 50 professional concert productions, large-scale festival acts and opera tours. I am the producer who keeps an overview, gets people moving and takes responsibility for the whole.
I am not a report writer who disappears after the presentation. I stay until it is in place, feels the way it should and everyone can be proud of the result.
